mSecure 6.1 is our first major release since the launch of mSecure 6, and we are thrilled to share it with you! Our developers have worked hard to bring several new features to the mSecure toolkit, giving you a more powerful experience in managing your sensitive data. Some highlights include:

Family Plans

The new Family Subscription plan lets you include family members under one monthly or yearly subscription. Each member receives their own database to store personal information, while still sharing records with others in the family. Every member gets a Premium plan with full access to mSecure features.

The plan owner can add up to four additional users, and you can add more at an extra cost. This feature ensures that everyone in your family stays organized and secure.

Team Plans

The Team subscription allows you and your colleagues to securely store and share sensitive information under one plan. You can add or remove team members on a monthly basis to accommodate your business needs.

Team plans include shared vaults to keep business data safe and start with 10 users, with the option to add more at a cost. Each Team plan also includes a separate Family Plan for the admin’s personal use.

Two-Factor Authentication

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security when signing into your mSecure account. Once enabled, you must enter a one-time code to verify your identity.

You can receive the code via email, text message, or an authenticator app. You can even set multiple delivery methods, so you can choose the most convenient option each time you sign in.

 

Login Password History

mSecure 6.1 now tracks your password history for each record. If you want to avoid repeating passwords, you can review all previous passwords and see the exact date and time of each exchange.

Each password field keeps its own history, securely encrypted within your account. Password tracking starts from the moment you update to version 6.1; prior changes will not appear.

 

Attach Any Type of File

You can now attach any file type to your mSecure records. This feature allows you to keep sensitive documents organized and protected under the same encryption as your other information.

To view a file, simply click its icon in the record details. mSecure decrypts it and opens it in its own window. If the file type is unsupported, you can export it to an external application.
